Carbon District · Fitting your parts

Installation

Most of our parts are direct-fit — they replace the original or bond neatly over it. Here's how a typical fit goes.

The process

Four steps. Done right.

01

Unbox & dry-fit

Check the part against your car before anything is fixed. Dry-fit first to confirm the alignment and finish are spot on.

02

Prep the surface

Clean the mounting area thoroughly with a panel wipe or isopropyl. Remove any original trim or fixings the part replaces.

03

Fit it

Replacement parts bolt or clip in like the original. Overlay parts bond with pre-applied automotive 3M tape — warm it, line up, press firm.

04

Cure & check

Let any adhesive cure fully — 24–48 hrs, no washing — before detailing or driving hard. Re-check the alignment once it's set.
